We also had a Grand Hotel in '77. Awesome tent that weighed a whisker under
12 pounds. None of those wimpy 1-pound tarps for us! It wasn't until we got
to Oregon that we figured out that it was more comfortable for three of us
to sleep crosswise in the tent instead of lengthwise.

We managed to make it all the way to Canada without burning ours down.
