A brush fire started just before noon today on Highway 94, which is now closed between Forrest Gate Road (the road to the south terminus of the PCT) and Tecate. I think the fire's more to the west of the trail, but it could affect access to the trailhead. Winds are over 30 mph out there. Noons at 11.
