Speaking of bears, I was particularly amused by a piece of advice I found 
somewhere this past summer:  "Do not challenge a bear that has gotten to 
your food--the bear will consider it hers and will defend it."  Although I'm 
not inclined to take a swing at a bear, I had to laugh at the writer's 
assumption that I'M not also an animal who might consider her food to be 
hers, and defend it.
