Unfortunately Scotchguard has been discontinued, however there is another
product that will work.  It is available at hardware stores.  Can't remember
the name, but will check into it.  It works on anything as it is silicone
also.  Just ask for silicon spray.  Also Thompson's water sealer for decks,
concrete will work, but is heavier and has to be painted on then let cure
for 24 hours.  It will eat the fabric if used too often or put away wet
(like for storage, not packing out).  once a year might be too often if your
tent/tarp hasn't been used often.
