[pct-l] Training Hikes in Sth Calif.

Another good training hike on the PCT in the San Gabriels is from Crystal
Lake to the top of Mt. Baden Powell and back.  It is approximately 22 miles
roundtrip and about ten thousand feet of elevation change (up and down).  The
great thing about it is you can go any distance that you feel up to and get
the training at some of the highest elevation in the San Gabriels and get
alot of up and down along the way, whether you go 12, 16 miles, or all of the
way.  The views into LA one direction and into the Mojave desert the other
can be fantastic.  Spring and Fall are best.  Summer time gets too hot and
snow can be deep in winter.
