I was washing out my bandana's today, and it reminded
me of my 7 weeks on the trail, when I was soooooo
happy to just rinse out
my bandana and put the cool, wet cloth to my
face, then ring it out on my head in the desert....GOD
that seems like so long ago (it was last year)...I
would KILL
to go back to that time, although no one could have
told me then....but ..and I think about the
PCT so much lately, like that author (on the AT) said:
"...you hike a long-distance trail...it digs a groove
in your life that you trip over every day..."
