[pct-l] Spoiled hikers/campers

Personally, I think most all of you are spoiled rotten. I do believe =
this is 'our land' (meaning everyone's) and that exploring the wilds of =
our land is a basic 'right'. BUT, did any of you really stop to think =
you are demanding YOUR use of the land, when YOU want it, how YOU want =
it, for as long as YOU want it, under YOUR schedule and under the guide =
lines of YOUR personal desire to explore/camp they way only YOU want?

YOU cannot drive as fast as YOU want (unless willing to get ticket upon =
ticket till you lose YOUR license); YOU cannot hunt when and where YOU =
want; YOU cannot drive vehicles everywhere YOU want; YOU must stop when =
law enforcement tells YOU to stop; YOU cannot go into a restaurant =
without shirt and shoes; YOU need a card to be able to take a book from =
the library; YOUR credit must be good or YOU cannot buy a car, house, =
etc. (unless you have one hell of a lot of cash); and, whether you like =
it or not, YOU generally need to knock and wait for a response before =
entering someone's home.

So, why in all that is good do you all seem to think YOU can go into the =
woods when YOU want, how YOU want, the way YOU want, doing what YOU =
want, NEVER needing to cooperate with others and an agency??????? =20

Maybe YOUR Mommas did not teach YOU that YOU are not the only person in =
this world, and that, as any pre-schooler can tell you (just ask =
Mr.Rogers), that 'cooperation' is needed in any/all societies of more =
than one.

Do what you are suppose to do, shut up, and go on with your life.

JoAnn (who would not go into those areas of beer 'problems' except in =
the 'off season'. If weather won't allow that, then I would be delighted =
to know the incredible beauty is there and appreciate it, love it, and =
value it from a far...don't think most of us own a Degas, Monet or =
daVinci, do we????)
