[pct-l] Cascade Summit P.O.
We mailed to Cascade Summit last year. The Post Office is in fact closed and
our box went to Cresent Lake Post Office. When we arrived at Summit Lake our
box was there courtesy of the nice people at Cascade Summit & Cresent Lake
Post Office. No problems!
Another thru-hiker who was there with us didn't get his box. It was mailed
late.
We were there on a Monday and the stores supplies were coming in on Tuesday.
We may have been able to squeek by purchasing food from the store, maybe
not. But with the supplies coming in on Tuesday I am sure we could have
resupplied from the store. The store is quite small. They have a good
selection, but a limited supply of each item.
This was one of the most helpful re-supply sites we encountered along the
PCT.
