Look at the annual closure of Boulder Oaks and Indian
Flats Campgrounds at the start of camping and PCT
thru-hiking season, which don't reopen until the fall,
because of a toad. Fortunately, they still let PCTers
walk thru Boulder Oaks Campground to get water, but
this isn't guaranteed in the future.

If they'll do this for a toad, what will they do for a
bear?
