I recently visited my son in Berkeley who has become a Japanese food aficionado.
As we ate"real ramen" in a restaurant he told me that "Top Ramen" was originally
designed as a quick meal to whip up for a hungry child.  "Top Ramen" is to real
ramen as Spaghettios is to real spaghetti!
