Sterling,

Thanks for mentioning and supporting my site. I will definately be checking
out the backpackinglight site as well. Shedding some weight is something I'm
very interested in since I've set the goal of eventually hiking the PCT. It
also will make it more feasable to attempt a short backpacking trip with
three kids and myself (Am I nuts?!)

For those that are interested, I recently discovered a book put out in 1981
by the National Geographic Society on the Continental Divide Trail.
Wonderful photos! I wonder if there is an equivilent for the PCT. Does
anyone know?

 PCT hiker wanna be (Ah, what I'd give to be there heading through the
mountains instead of in the middle of scortching Texas desert right now...)
