Also,  try substituting pinto or black beans for the kidney beans. The
spices & sweet pot. goes well with these as well. I'm sorry, yes, I have
made them first, then dehydrated, & it works; but if you got 1 or 2 picky
eaters with you, they might not go for it. Ha! I've got to always try to
please the others as well as myself.
Also, this recipe you can halve well. It does have 12 servings. Or,
rehydrate what you need, & save the rest for another meal. (Someone just
asked me about that.)

Linda, this recipe does sound addictive...have you tried the filling as an
instant mix?  (i.e. adding boiling water, letting soak for 10-15 minutes,
then spooning into warmed tortillas) - perhaps pre-cooking the filling, then
dehydrating the mash?  I might try this out.
