Speaking of fine countries, my outdoor club did a slide show on England's Offa Trail, one of the long distance hiking trails there. I had no idea that England was so rural. The slide show completely changed my perception of the country and I hope to do the extremely pastoral hike someday. I was told the hospitality was overwhelming. Lots of historic ruins to explore, too
