[pct-l] Terri and Mark Mason Start

At 2:40pm, Sunday, April 8, hand in hand, Terri and Mark Mason started =
their journey back to Canada.  Good luck to them.=20

A very helpful and friendly Border Patrol Agent interrupted his patrol =
to drive up to the monument to tell the hikers that there had been some =
illegal activity at Fred Canyon-Long Canyon, and to report that all the =
seasonal creeks were running.  A check of the notebook at the monument =
shows about a dozen hikers so far, most headed for Idylwild or nearer.  =
Sunny, but chilly and windy at the monument.  No mud, despite rain in =
the last few days.  Good luck to the Class of 2001.=20
