[pct-l] dogs - first aid?

Hi,

I don't plan on taking my dog on any long distance hikes, but my husband and 
I take our 3 year-old border collie backpacking all summer long.  We've 
always wondered if there are some special items we should include in our 
first aid kit that would be specifically helpful if something happened to 
our dog.  Any ideas?
