A friend of mine went skiing at Mammoth last weekend and said temperatures on the mountain were in the upper 70's to 80's! Snow melting fast, base has been cut in half in the last two weeks due to warmer than normal weather. Leave early, the snow should be clear in the Sierras, IMHO and best guess. Greg "Strider" Hummel
