Hello all,
Ken and I took our some of our 2000 through hike pictures in to have
enlargements made of our best shots to hang on our walls. Our point and
shoot (Olympus zoom 115) took clear enough shots to enlarge to 20"x24".
However, one important suggestion that we got was to use the date feature
only on the first picture of the day and especially if the shot is not
something special that you may want to hang. The photographer suggested a
campsite or even a shoe shot for the dated picture.
We also wish that we had taken more "people on the trail or in town" shots
(Ron Moak's CD is fantastic) or shots showing the difficult aspects of the
trail like water crossings where we were so busy getting across that we
didn't stop for a picture.
Some of the trail is so picturesque that any picture is going to be
gorgeous! Best wishes to the 2001 hikers!
Marcia
