Hi Craig -
each time I've used the planning program, I already had specific dates in
mind for certain locations, and wanted to then fill in the rest with the
program. I used the pace, day length, and elevation gain time features to
tweak it until it fell within the dates I was looking for. Is there a way in
the new version to specify certain dates for certain locations? (Kennedy
Meadows, Tuolumne, and Manning park being common ones people might be
interested in.) Thanks for all your work in this. It has been a huge help
to many of us.

I have a quick question for those of you that have used the pct planning
program. What values do you generally use for hiking pace, hiking day
length, and time to add for 1000 feet elevation gain? I'm just trying to
get an idea, I don't know if I'm going to hardwire them in as example values
just yet.
Thanks,
Craig
