[pct-l] Re: [BackpackingLight] Fw: New Test - Ear Warmers

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for the additional instructions. I would like to test the ear =
warmers if there are any still available. I'm female, age 47, and live =
in upstate (Rochester) NY where we're known for long, cold winters with =
lots of snow due to lake effect storms. I currently wear the old style, =
bulky ear muffs when I head outdoors and would welcome the opportunity =
to test a more up-to-date version. I'm actively promoting my new book =
(Snow Trails - Cross-country Ski and Snowshoe in Central & Western NY) =
so I'll be outdoors a lot in the next 2 months doing TV interviews and =
leading hikes/skis at area winter festivals. I also take a break each =
day and head outside for a hike on the trails around my home. I'd be =
happy to file any required reports. Thanks, Sue

Don't sell them short...they are way cool! Very light (under 2oz on my =
scales) and very warm. I wear a baseball cap, glasses and dual hearing =
aids (blown up once too often) and none of those interfere with fit of =
the muffs. They collapse to a very small package. We have 10 to test. =
You can see them at www..arctic180s.com . As these are very simple items =
to test and can be tested around town, all three reports can be =
condensed into one report. Applications must be made through =
backpackGearTest@yahoogroups.com and you must be a member to apply.
Enjoy,
Jerry
