it's my theory that a bear poking around / tearing into
an occupied tent is a curious bear, not a pissed off bear, and
therefore would be deterred by banging metal against
metal (even nalgene against nalgene has worked for me),=20
thereby saving yourself and your improperly, but lightly stored food.
