[pct-l] resupply

Congrats on your PCT trip! My husband and I hiked last year. When we took
our ice ax-crampon class at MT Shasta, the guide showed us a Snow Peak Giga
Power stove that is fueled by butane cartridges. We switched to this stove
after weighing the pros and cons (light weight, non-recyclable containers)
and asked the company in Lake Oswego, Oregon mailed cartridges to us at our
scheduled resupply points. They did a great job. they knew how to ship
meeting ORMD regulations (ground only, within the allowed amounts. We still
have schedule and amounts of fuel that we ordered and the resupply points
that it was mailed or UPSed to if you want that info. We asked if the
company would ship to other hikers and they said yes. The person that we
talked to was Cindy Ross, author of Journey on the Crest!
