The International Dark-Sky Association's goal is to fight light and air
pollution so we can see the stars at night. However, instead of carrying
signs or shooting out street lamps, they educate people and especially local
governments about ways to SAVE MONEY while maintaining safe lighting levels
by using more efficient lighting.
