RE: [pct-l] Maildrop Locations

You might consider a single mail drop at Kennedy Meadows and plan to mail
forward from Kennedy Meadows to Tuolumne. I am not shure how fast the mail
travels. Someone else might answer that.

At Tolumne Meadows you could take the bus to Yosemite Valley and virtually
re-outfit yourself from the store there. The bus only runs twice a day but
the side trip to the Valley is well worth it. On the other hand, Tuloumne is
a place where you may make a major gear change, sending home heavy boots,
ice axe and other gear used for snow etc. While you CNA fine running shoes,
or lightweight hiking shoes in Yosemite, you might not find the exact brand
that you want. Some of the gear that you want in Tuolumne may well be the
gear that you shed in Kennedy Meadows.
