[pct-l] More stellar news!

Lots of heavenly bodies:

Venus and the waxing crescent moonI am hoping that Ron does not object to
this posting: November 29th, clear skies permitting, another celestial
exhibition; the "Evening Star" Venus will have a beautiful close conjuction
(pairing)with the thin waxing crescent moon in the southwestern sky. The
event should be able to be seen at dusk and grow with intensity as twilight
deepens.

One month exactly, December 29th, the event will re-run, when the Moon
completes an orbit around Earth and catches up to Venus once again; along
with a faint star Delta Capricorni. Delta Capricorni is 230 trillion miles
away and takes 39 years for the light to reach us; compared to the Moon's
light 1.3 seconds and Venus's light in 6.8 minutes to reach our eyes.

Kind of shy still:
