[pct-l] Shoes

At The Gathering, Karen Berger mentioned that she recommends boots for the 
High Sierras.  I have my old Vasques, which I think I could possibly get 800 
more miles from them (if I'm lucky), but I probably ought to buy a pair of 
low trail shoes like I hear many are wearing.  Any suggestions?  (On both 
wearing boots through the High Sierras, and On what are the favored low trail 
shoes).  Gail
