Has anyone had any success in painting a Garcia (plastic) bear can?

It seemed to me that a couple of bright yellow stripes would make it a
lot easier to find the canister after Mr. Bear had drop-kicked it
around the campsite.  The Krylon spray-paint that I applied just
rubbed right off, however.

Anyone have any success at this?

Try  any  bright colored  TAPE
