New Balance shoes

The brand New Balance seems to be appearing a lot recently whenever
hiking shoes are discussed on this list [and I haven't been paying
attention!].  I went to their site ... they have a lot of choices.
Which model  seemed to work best for those of you who recently used New
Balance on a long-distance hike?
