Better yet, why not limit the trail to the residents of the states that it
runs through. There van be no question that the inclusion of Southerners,
New Yorkers and [horrors] Jerseites degrades the quality of the PCT
experience.

Second, as you know, human waste has become a problem in wilderness areas. I
propose a "Poop Limit" One can only deficate so many grams of poop before
being required to leave the wilderness. I understand that this would
effectively require to super-Jardine the trail [fast for 134 days out of
160] for thruhikers and I also know that it would create a hardship for many
people on this list who are "Full of it" but in the interest of
preserving........
