When our platypus bags developed leaks on our way into Big Bear City in 98,
we called the manufacturer (I think, Cascade designs), and they sent us
replacements to Wrightwood.  They actually sent us the long, skinny version,
but when they got our shorter, wider leaky ones, they sent us two of those,
too.  The replacements have lasted since then.  We actually like the long,
skinny ones.  I don't know why those original ones started to leak.
