I have an aluminum pot that is lighter than my titanium pot. Unfortunately,
most ain't. The aluminum backpacking pots I see today are rather heavy.
However, I have a friend that does all cooking in a pie plate. This may
sound wierd but it works. In particular, he finds the increased surface area
to be helpful reconstituting food. He can also cook fish if he catch's them.
