[pct-l] Rain, rain, rain?

Jeff Z reports from Washington that he hasn't seen a drop of rain since 
Yosemite.  He hopes that he isn't dooming himself by noting this.  Madman 
Monte is going to meet him at Whites Pass this weekend.  

I told Monte to start walking now and, maybe by  the time Jeff catches him, 
he will be able to keep up for a mile or two!  Knowing Monte, we will receive 
a detailed account of the "death" march.
