Jerry,

Great idea.  The people on this list are pragmatic gear heads, IMHO.  That 
is, they are driven to practical, long term, functional design, not just for 
the thrill of the gadget.  

I would love to try some of the new ideas out and think many others here 
would also.  No better place to find people to really put the products to the 
test, too.
