[pct-l] Kennedy Meadows

According to the National Interagency Situation Report for 7-29-00 
(www.nifc.gov/news/sitrept.html)  The Manter Fire has burned 25,500 acres in the Dome Land Wilderness area.  The fire has crossed the Kern River in two places and is only 30% contained.  The town of Kennedy Meadows has been evacuated with structural protection in place.
