[pct-l] PCT hikers at Barrel Springs

Here is some interesting information about the number of hikers (just those 
who signed the log) on the PCT this year. Not all are thru-hikers, but a 
snapshot of activity in southern CA.

    I was out at Barrel Springs on Jun 2. Thought you might like to pass 
these numbers on to the PCTA list server:
 
    During the last day of April, 3 hikers signed the register at Barrel 
Springs.
    For all of May              165 hikers 
    On June 6 a group of 6 more signed in.
 
    Total for the 5 weeks = 174.
