My advice on boots is not to give any advice since no one will listen anyway. 
Live and learn . But I will say this: If you get blisters or have wet feet 
all the time then something is wrong because there are many of us out on the 
trail that don't have those problems and I dare to say we are enjoying our 
hiking more than you. Bad feet = bad hike.                  Mountain Dave
