[pct-l] Flamed - List Admin Note.

I re-read <Bighummel@aol.com>'s (Strider's) post pretty closely from a
list-admin point of view and I did not see a flame. There were two
statements that might have caused hurt feelings if taken the wrong way
==1==
<<I don't know your experience with snow and how comfortable with hiking
in it you are.>>
I think Strider was simply stating that he doesn't know Will, not trying to
imply Will isn't experienced (which he is).
==2==
<<Similarly, if you, yes you on the list, are not comfortable, capable,
equipped for and mentally prepared for a late spring storm, then you
shouldn't be anywhere Kennedy Mdws right now either. >>
This, upon close reading, is a statement directed at the list members, not
at Will at all. I also think it is common sence...
=====
This looks like a disagreement in facts and opinions, not a personal
attack. I am admittedly not free from bias, as I just spent time with
Strider at the ADZ and am probably influenced by the memories of his
pleasant demeanor there, but the post in question didn't even register on
my flame-o-meter when I first read it.
This list has been pretty free from flames since September, let's keep it
that way. Dissenting opinions are encouraged, but remember that all
statements are open for rebuttal.
Lets all try and remember we're on the same team.
