I will order it and try it out. Most of the time the bear doesn't come. In
about 300 nights in the Sierra a bear has shown up less than 10 times--3%.
Three of these nights were on one trip, 2 in the Kearsarge Pass area -- well
known for unbelievable bear activity, and one in Paradise Valley --another
high bear area. If you stealth camped and used bear boxs where possible I
would estimate the probability at 1%. Of course, you cannot stealth camp in
some areas so you must walk through them.
