[pct-l] Crampons

After an aborted attempt to do the last 20 miles of trail from "the
Fuller Ridge remote campsite" in Section B.  I think my next purchase
should be a pair of lightweight crampons, either instep or whatever.
What are some of the disadvantages and where can they be purchased?  I am
not climbing a mountain like Mt. Rainier I just want to feel more secure
crossing some snowfields or on hard icy snow on the trail.
