[pct-l] Tahoe?

I have a holiday to Stateline,NV south of Lake Tahoe during April 1-7. I 
have not traveled to this area. I know the PCT is to the west! I plan on
taking my snow shoes and day pack, trying out new gears and things.

Does anyone know of good trails, sights, or what would you do if you were
there for a week free?
I might rent skis at Heavenly.
