No Subject



I remember that some of you who post to this list are
runners as well as hikers.  In particular, I recall
posts which stated that after a long distance hike it
was surprisingly not easy to just start up with the
running again.  Even with that high fitness level.

Have any of you tried the opposite?  I am training for
my first marathon on March 5th and plan to start a
long distance hike on March 15th.  Is this wise?
