[pct-l] Snow Conditions

To get an idea of snow pack along parts of the PCT check out www.skicentral.com  Ski reports for ski areas acroos the nation. Tahoe area and S. Cal ski reports for that portion.  In Ore and Wash the trail passes thru or adjacent to Mt Ashland, Willamette Pass, Hoodoo, Timberline, White pass, Snoqualmie Pass And Stevens Pass ski areas.  Word of caution ski area marketing folks have a tendency to "stretch" their snowpack.  It is usually measured in areas protected from wind and sunlight.
