[pct-l] Fatal Fall last year.

The fall happened 3 or 4 Jun, (body found 6 Jun) and the hiker was a 
"thru-hiker."
He had no ice axe. I was told in a phone call that he was using trekking 
poles instead.
I hope this answers the "ice axe vs. trekking poles" controversy.....
