Tired of this damnpemic, got my shots and heading for the hills this summer. Starting off Donner to Bucks Summit Labor Day with any luck. Last time I did this part, I pulled into Sierra City the morning of 9/11. The bar had the big screen playing towers falling. Left pretty quick. Spent the next 2 weeks walking North oblivious except for no planes in the sky. Good timing. Anyway, get out there old people, and enjoy.
