This is just a reminder The thing that is called a fire permit is what allows you to have a backpacking stove with a shut off valve,not a campfire. There is almost no place where a campfire is allowed. And if it is ,there are numerous restrictions (wind,cleared space,plants,lack of shovel)that can go into effect that make it illegal. We just lost another 850 acres to a fire caused by a motorcycle crash. Let's not add to that total.
