Your best bet is to buy one online and have it delivered to KM.
It is a long way from anywhere.
I know people that have made that hitch but they had a trail angel, already
at KM to help them get out.
Getting back would be very difficult.
Your next best would be having it shipped to Lone Pine PO and taking the
side trail out Horse shoe meadows.
Some hikers used that in 2009.
An easy hitch if the CG is open.
