Hello All,
Can anyone point me to some good websites or videos with yoga and calisthenic routines specific to trail-related stresses and strains on the body?
I'm looking at simple, full body stretches and self-weight (or maybe some simple, improvised weight) workouts I can do both on- and off-trail in the mornings and evenings to prevent common hiking injuries (feet, ankles, knees, hips, and back come to mind) with the additional benefit of maintaining my strength and flexibility. I've already got a cardio workout planned for the remainder of the day. ;-)
I have been attending a class at the Berkeley REI for Yoga for the Outdoors, but any additional resources or information would be much obliged. I might also look into EarthGym and purchasing some Monkii Bars, we'll see….
