[pct-l] Current High Sierra Snow, Flower, and Mosquito levels

Just an update, folks...

I just pulled off-trail via Piute Pass and here are the current snow and mosquito levels:

Snow level is still about 11,000 feet on eastern and western aspects with 10,800 on northern and 12,000 on southern.

Mosquitoes are just arriving at 10,800, but swarming down at 9,500.

Flowers are starting to blossom as high as 10,500 (paintbrush and shooting stars).

Creek crossings are still running high as the upper bowls of the sierra still have a fair amount of snow, but rapidly shrinking to just large patches above 11,000, so carry creek crossing shoes and two poles.

It’s a good time to be in the sierra right now with snow remaining primarily on the passes and their approaches!
