I'll second that.   I have never seen so many mosquitos in my life.    It was literally like a cloud around my body.   Deet kept them from landing but it made little difference, it seemed that there was at least 4 or 5 of the buggers per square inch.   If you stopped moving you were doomed.

Starting on June 10th is probably doable.  You will find snow over Jefferson and probably by Crater Lake.  I think your real issue will be mosquitoes.
Middle of June to middle of August is prime mosquito season in pretty much all of Oregon and northern California.  Just be prepared.
