[pct-l] The future of the PCT-L

I want to add my two cents, which is BRAVO FOR THE PCT-L!!!

It’s an easy way for me — a section hiker who’s done every step of the northern 1300 miles of the PCT — to ask specific questions and to get extremely helpful and knowlegeable responses. Thank you all who have made my hiking better and safer.

It’s also been an opportunity for me to give back on occasion, when I can answer someone’s questions about a specific section or I can post water updates (which I also send elsewhere.)

My hope is that this list continues until I’m in my 80s (another 13 years) by which point I hope to have completed the southern half of the PCT!

With gratitude,
Susan from Spokane

I don't do Facebook. As far as I know, Brick does not consider me a product to be sold, nor a data source for mining.

Yes, this list will die some day, just like usenet is an historical object nowadays. But so far, so good. People still know about it and ask questions, don't they?

I could write a story about me and the PCT, but, man, would it be curmudgeonly! The good old days were great, pre-trail angel, pre-water cache, pre-GPS, etc. but who wants to hear that crap? We live in the present, as I have to constantly remind myself.

Gary
