This is the first paragraph of the email you should already have IF you
successfully applied alreay:
"Congratulations on planning a trip along the Pacific Crest Trail! This
email confirms that you’ve applied for a PCT Long-distance Permit. This is
NOT your permit and you have not yet been issued one. Permits may take 1-3
weeks to be delivered. Thank you for your patience. Once processed, you’ll
receive another email with your permit as a PDF attachment."
